Während Leckagen normalerweise zu einem Flüssigkeitsverlust führen, können sie beim genannten Škoda-Modell und bei allen weiteren Motoren aus der Baureihe EA111 zum Leuchten der Motorkontrollleuchte (MIL) und zu Motorruckeln führen. Ein Fall aus der Hotline von Hella Gutmann Solutions.

Beanstandung: Die MIL ist aktiv, zeitweise tritt ein schwaches Ruckeln des Motors auf.
Fehlerursache: Im Fehlerspeicher sind die Fehlercodes P017200 Gemisch Bank 1 – Gemisch zu fett, P223700 Lambdasonde Bank 1 Sensor 1 − Unterbrechung Pumpstrom-Stromkreis und P013600 Lambdasonde Bank 1 Sensor 2 − Stromkreis fehlerhaft abgelegt.
