Das Mercedes-Benz Werk W\u00f6rth feierte k\u00fcrzlich ein besonderes Jubil\u00e4um: Seit 20 Jahren wird hier der Unimog produziert. Nachdem das Fahrzeug \u00fcber viele Jahre im Schwesterwerk Gaggenau gefertigt wurde, zog die Produktion des Universal-Motor-Ger\u00e4ts im Jahr 2002 von Gaggenau in das Werk W\u00f6rth um. Als sogenannter Special-Truck wird der Unimog seitdem im gr\u00f6\u00dften Werk f\u00fcr Mercedes-Benz Lkw mit hohen Anteilen an manueller Montage produziert, was eine besonders hohe Flexibilit\u00e4t in den Abl\u00e4ufen erm\u00f6glicht.<\/p>\n

Der Unimog<\/a> ist bis heute noch immer mit dem Werk Gaggenau verbunden, wo er \u00fcber 50 Jahre hinweg produziert wurde. In Gaggenau werden nach wie vor die Unimog-spezifischen Portalachsen, Getriebe sowie zahlreiche andere Komponenten gefertigt. In der N\u00e4he der ehemaligen Produktionsst\u00e4tte befindet sich heute auch das Unimog-Museum. Seit dem Produktionsstart im Jahr 1951 sind bisher \u00fcber 370.000 Unimogs<\/strong> in den Werken Gaggenau und W\u00f6rth vom Band gerollt.<\/p>\n

Die Kunden setzen ihre Unimog-Modelle so vielf\u00e4ltig ein wie kaum ein anderes Fahrzeug. So r\u00e4umt der Allesk\u00f6nner unter den Nutzfahrzeugen unter anderem bei Verkehrsbetrieben Schnee von den Gleisen und schleppt liegengebliebene Z\u00fcge ab, er wird zur Pflege von Gr\u00fcnbest\u00e4nden genutzt und ist als Rettungswagen in schwierigstem Gel\u00e4nde unterwegs. Mit der Befahrung des h\u00f6chsten Vulkans der Welt h\u00e4lt der Unimog au\u00dferdem den H\u00f6henweltrekord f\u00fcr Radfahrzeuge.<\/p>\n

Das Mercedes-Benz Werk W\u00f6rth<\/h3>\n

Das Mercedes-Benz Werk W\u00f6rth wurde 1963 gegr\u00fcndet und produziert die Mercedes-Benz Lkw Baureihen Actros, Arocs und Atego. Auch die Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks Econic und Zetros werden hier neben dem Unimog gebaut. Im Oktober 2021 startete die Serienproduktion des batterieelektrisch angetriebenen Mercedes-Benz eActros<\/a>, im Juli 2022 folgte bereits der zweite Elektro-Serien-Lkw Mercedes-Benz eEconic. Der Standort am Rhein ist das Kompetenzzentrum f\u00fcr Mercedes-Benz Lkw im weltweiten Produktionsverbund und mit rund 10.000 Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeitern zweitgr\u00f6\u00dfter Arbeitgeber in Rheinland-Pfalz.<\/p>\n\r\n\t\t\t\t
