Was im Pkw-Bereich Standard ist, wird bald auch f\u00fcr Nutzfahrzeugwerkst\u00e4tten und Flottenbetreiber Pflicht: Ab Juli 2022 m\u00fcssen nach der Allgemeinen Sicherheitsverordnung der Europ\u00e4ischen Union auch schwere Nutzfahrzeuge wie Lkw und deren Anh\u00e4nger sowie Busse schrittweise mit RDKS-Sensoren (Reifendruckkontrollsystem, englisch TPMS, Tire Pressure Monitoring System) ausgestattet werden. Dies gilt zun\u00e4chst f\u00fcr alle neu homologierten Fahrzeugtypen, ab 2024 dann f\u00fcr alle Nutzfahrzeuge, die neu aus der Fabrik rollen. Daher hat das Technologieunternehmen Continental sein Serviceangebot im Nutzfahrzeugbereich um das TPMS Update Plus Transport<\/strong> f\u00fcr die Reifendruckkontrolle und Wartung von Reifendruckkontrollsystemen von Sattelzugmaschinen sowie -aufliegern erweitert.<\/p>\n

Update des TPMS Pro<\/h3>\n

Das Update wird auf das im Pkw-Bereich eingesetzte Serviceger\u00e4t TPMS Pro<\/strong><\/a> aufgespielt. So k\u00f6nnen Nutzfahrzeugwerkst\u00e4tten und Flottenbetreiber alle n\u00f6tigen Serviceschritte abdecken, vom Auslesen und Programmieren der Sensoren bis hin zur Dokumentation. Die umfangreiche Datenbank wird regelm\u00e4\u00dfig aktualisiert und deckt laut Conti alle g\u00e4ngigen europ\u00e4ischen Nutzfahrzeughersteller ab.<\/p>\n

RDKS- und Reifenmanagement<\/h3>\n

Mit dem Pr\u00fcf- und Programmierger\u00e4t TPMS Pro k\u00f6nnen Nutzfahrzeugwerkst\u00e4tten den individuellen Reifenservice f\u00fcr Nutzfahrzeuge sicher und bequem durchf\u00fchren. Die Datenbankerweiterung TPMS Update Plus Transport erlaubt daf\u00fcr nicht nur die Aktivierung und Pr\u00fcfung von RDKS-Sensoren. Das Serviceger\u00e4t erm\u00f6gliche pro Nutzfahrzeug die Speicherung und Verwaltung von bis zu 26 R\u00e4dern sowie gleichzeitig eine flexible Achsen- und Reifenkonfiguration auch bei Zwillingsbereifung, so Kevilj. Durch neueste RF-Technologie k\u00f6nnen dabei alle Sensordaten bei Zwillingsbereifung mit nur einem Handgriff erfasst werden. Hintergrund: Aus VDO wurde Continental<\/strong>
\nIm vergangenen Jahr hatte Continental bekanntgegeben, die Serviceger\u00e4te der konzerneigenen Marke VDO k\u00fcnftig unter der Marke Continental zu vertreiben. Durch die Umstellung des Markenauftritts soll auch im Aftermarket die Technologiekompetenz und das Know-how der Marke Continental gest\u00e4rkt werden. Auch Nfz-Werkst\u00e4tten k\u00f6nnten sich aber weiterhin auf die Premium-Qualit\u00e4t der Produkte verlassen, an ihnen selbst \u00e4ndert sich laut Conti nichts.<\/p>\n
