Ein Navigationssystem, das die speziellen Anforderungen von Spediteuren und Busunternehmern erf\u00fcllt, will Blaupunkt nach eigenem Bekunden mit den neuen Travel-Pilots 54 und 74 im Programm haben. Unterstreichen sollen dies vor allem die neue Software und zahlreiche Konfigurationsm\u00f6glichkeiten, die dem Nutzer ein akustisch und visuell optimiertes Navigieren erm\u00f6glichen sollen.<\/p>\n

Den Produktinformationen zufolge navigieren die beiden Ger\u00e4te unter Einbeziehung aktueller Verkehrssituationen (Avanteq TMC) sowie statistisch erfassten Erfahrungswerten in Bezug auf Zeit und Ort berechnet. Da sich die Navis mit truckspezifischen Daten – beispielsweise Fahrzeugabmessungen, Gefahrgutoptionen und Schadstoffgruppe – f\u00fcttern lassen, sollen sie beim Routing spezielle Strecken-Parameter ber\u00fccksichtigen. So werden beispielsweise Durchfahrtsbeschr\u00e4nkungen bei Tunnels oder Br\u00fccken eingeplant, Stra\u00dfen mit engen Wendem\u00f6glichkeiten ausgelassen, oder bei der Berechnung von Ankunftszeiten landesspezifische H\u00f6chstgeschwindigkeiten einkalkuliert.
\nDie Ger\u00e4te verf\u00fcgen au\u00dferdem \u00fcber eine Freisprechoption via Bluetooth sowie die M\u00f6glichkeit, die Ansicht von Geb\u00e4uden und Landschaften auf dem f\u00fcnf (54er) beziehungsweise sieben Zoll (74er) gro\u00dfen Display in 3D anzeigen zu lasen. Laut Blaupunkt sind bei den beiden neuen Travel-Pilots lebenslange Updates des gesamteurop\u00e4ischen Kartenmaterials von TomTom inklusive.
