Dazu will der Mineral\u00f6lkonzern sein LNG-Tankstellennetz rasch auf maximal 40 Standorte in Deutschland erweitern und dort \u00fcberwiegend CO2-n eutralen Kraftstoff anbieten.<\/p>\n<p>Shell will vor allem Bio-LNG nutzen, um Transportunternehmern einen erschwinglichen, CO2-neutralen Kraftstoff anbieten zu k\u00f6nnen. Zudem soll die LNG-Kraftstoffversorgungskette in Deutschland dekarbonisiert werden. Das Konzept umfasst nach Unternehmensangaben die gesamte inl\u00e4ndische Wertsch\u00f6 pfungskette, einschlie\u00dflich der Beschaffung von Biomethan aus G\u00fclle, landwirtschaftlichen oder kommunalen Abf\u00e4llen sowie dem Bau von Gasverfl\u00fcs sigungskapazit\u00e4t en und der Verteilung von CO2-neutralem LNG \u00fcb er das LNG-Stationsnetz. Zus\u00e4tzlich soll die eigene Tankwagenflotte auf LNG umgestellt werden.<\/p>\n<p>Laut einer Thinkstep-Studie kann Shell LNG dazu beitragen, die\u00a0Well-to-Wheel-Treibhausgasemissionen (inklusive CO2, Methan und Stickoxiden) schwerer Lkw um bis zu 22 Prozent im Vergleich zu mit konventionellem Diesel betriebenen reduzieren. Zudem seien LNG-betriebene Fahrzeuge leiser als vergleichbare Dieselfahrzeuge. \u201eWird Bio-LNG beigemischt, das aus Biomethan und organischen Abf\u00e4llen oder erneuerbaren Energien besteht, kann LNG seinen CO2- Fu\u00dfabdruck auf volle CO2-Neutralit\u00e4t reduzieren\u201c, so ein Sprecher von Shell. Nutzfahrzeuge mit LNG-Antrieb sind derzeit serienm\u00e4\u00dfig von Iveco, Scania und Volvo erh\u00e4ltlich und erfreuen sich einer aktuellen Pressemeldung der Initiative \u201aZukunft Erdgas\u2018 zufolge zunehmender Beliebtheit: Rund zwei Jahre nach seiner Einf\u00fchrung ist der Topf des F\u00f6rderprogramms \u201aEnergieeffiziente und\/oder CO2-arme schwere Nutzfahrzeuge\u2018 des Bundesverkehrsministeriums bereits vollst\u00e4ndig ausgesch\u00f6pft.
