Mit dem \u201eOptiDrive bietet Wabco derzeit ein AMT\u201c-System, mit dem sich die Gangwechsel bei manuellen 5- bis 16-Gang-Getrieben von mittelschweren und schweren Lkw automatisieren lassen.<br \/>\nHerzstuck des AMT-Systems ist ein elektronische Getriebesteller, der die Schaltvorg\u00e4nge ausf\u00fchrt. Zulieferer Wabco war 1986 der erste Hersteller, der mit einem solchen System zur Getriebeautomatisierung in Serienproduktion ging.
